"Laudato Si’ Project gave me experience in the career I want to pursue and has had an immense impact on me. It is a means for me to do what I love and also prepare for education in environmental science in college."     -High School Student Alex

A great cultural, spiritual and educational challenge stands before us, and it will demand that we set out on the long path of renewal.

                                                       Pope Francis, Laudato Si' 202

Education is a crucial component of transforming the way humans see and treat the natural world. Laudato Si' Project does a lot of work educating young people but it is just as important to educate adults to better understand the natural world around them. As it was said, "In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught."

"I read the Pope's encyclical and I started making hydroponics and invite facebook friends to "go green". I read the nature catholic website and the nature catholic blog... it inspires me."     -Tammy, Indonesia
